Terra Incognita

Terra Incognita is a terminology that is used by cartographers to name an unknown region. When Ferdinand Magellan arrived in Tierra del Fuego, he named the island Terra Incognita Australis, although it had been inhabited for thousands of years.

The islanders knew the place thoroughly and were able to survive the most extreme weather. The same happens with the people that live there today.
